Beyond Security LLC was founded by Dez Halon in 2017. She has over 34 years of experience in the security field. Security protection, safety, guarding services, bodyguard, security management, operations, training and human resources. Plus, eight years of experience in rescue emergency response and procedures and trainer for EMTs and protocols.
She was a board member on the Arizona State DPS Private Investigator and Security Guard Hearing Board since 2021, voted in as acting Secretary on the board during 2023, 2024 and 2025. She is serving a term on the AZ DPS board from 2021- Jan 2026
She has been a P.I. in AZ as well.
She has worked her way up from starting as a security officer when she was just 18 years old working at a steel mill at a small station on Lake Michigan in Gary IN. She has also worked as an armed and unarmed security officer to supervisor, trainer, manager, operations, writing policies, procedures and protocols, human resources and then into upper management for some of the top security companies in the US, including two fortune 500 companies. Working in emergency management. To founding and owning Beyond Security LLC.
Security, protection and safety is one of Dez’s passions in life, truly it is the people. She believes in training and if you do not know, just ask. You cannot learn if you do not ask.

Beyond Security prides ourselves in our training and professionalism of our security officers. We hold our officers to a higher standard.
She believes in training officers throughout their career and giving them opportunities to grow in the security field. Giving people the tools and knowledge to get the job done well and exceed expectations every time. Providing more training than the AZ DPS standard for licensed unarmed security officers. Before reaching any site, hands on training and ongoing training for not only officers but for supervision and management.
Knowledge is key.

She is Christ based at her core. Dez stands up in good character for great ethics, humility, diplomacy morals and justice. She upholds a high standard for excellence and compassion. She stands up for those who cannot stand up for themselves.
God is her first passion! She holds herself to a higher standard due to her faith and love of Jesus Christ.
She is a published author of spiritual works and self-help books.
She is an amateur body builder, working her way to become pro.
She was born in Gary Indiana before moving to Chicago and then to Arizona, she has lived in AZ since 2008 and Arizona is her forever home.
